INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation)
The information is provided by Gecodigital pursuant to art. 13 Paragraph 1 and Art. 14, Paragraph 1 of EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “Regulation”) for consultation and registration on the website www.demo.gecodigital.com and subdomain, for the processing activities envisaged for the provision of the various services of Gecodigital.
Gecodigital guarantees compliance with data protection legislation and informs you that the personal data provided by the interested parties for registration and for the activities provided for, will be processed lawfully and fairly, in accordance with the principles set out in the Regulations.

Type of data processed

The data processed are exclusively personal data, telephone and telematic essential to meet the requests of users/visitors. The collection and subsequent processing of data is carried out by the Owner at the company’s head office, by companies affiliated to the brand and by companies appointed in compliance with the security measures and provisions of the Regulation.

Navigation data

The computer systems and the procedures for the functioning of the site www.demo.gecodigital.com and subdomain automatically acquire some personal data that are then transmitted implicitly in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information, due to its nature, could allow the identification of the users/visitors (e.g. IP address, domain names of the computers used by the users/visitors connecting to the site, etc.). This data is used only to obtain information and to check the correct functioning of the site. They can be used to establish liability in the event of damage to sites or offences committed through the network.
The personal data collected will be kept for 36 months unless required by law, and this time will be rendered anonymous.

Use of cookies

Cookies are text files that websites send to the internet access devices of users/visitors (usually browsers) where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same websites the next time they are visited by the same users. There may be:

Gecodigital, informs its users that this site uses technical session cookies that are designed to ensure navigation of the site and store the data entered in the forms published. Session cookies are not permanently stored on your browser devices and disappear when you close your browser. Visitors can always choose which cookies they would like to allow through their specific browser configurations by finding the options in the Options/Privacy tables. If surfers disable technical cookies, they may not be able to use certain parts of the site.
Google Analytics cookies are installed on the devices of Google Analytics’ surfers and provide Gecodigital with aggregate reports on how often and for how long users visit the pages of the site. Gecodigital is not responsible for the aforementioned data processing carried out by Google which however complies with the data protection provisions of the ‘Safe Harbor Principles’ and participates in the ‘Safe Harbor’ programme of the US Department of Commerce.

Disabling Google Analytics cookies does not prevent you from using this site, however, prevents Gecodigital from performing these statistics.

User data

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, and any other personal data included in the message.

Purpose of treatment

The personal data provided will be used, with your consent, for:
1. Fulfillment of legal obligations
2. Receive newsletters, communications and information on events, services or new products, favorable terms, updates on existing services or products, provide customer protection services.

The provision of data is in some cases mandatory, in others optional, however, failure to authorize involves the inability to provide the requested service.
Pursuant to art. 8 of the Regulation, for children under 16 years of age the consent must be given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility.

Communication and dissemination

The data processed are exclusively of a common nature and are not intended for dissemination. The Owner does not request and has no interest in collecting and processing data that may be classified as sensitive or judicial. The data must be transferred to third parties in fulfilment of obligations deriving from laws or regulations (Institutions, Law Enforcement, Judicial Authorities, etc.) or for activities directly or indirectly connected with the relationship established. By way of example but not limited to, the following are mentioned:
1. Subjects who need to access the data for purposes concerning their relationship with the Data Controller (Banks, Financial Companies, Carriers, etc.);
2. Consultants and collaborators, within the limits necessary to carry out the task conferred by the Owner;
3. Subsidiaries and/or affiliates of Gecodigital (or affiliates to the brand), which may access the data, within the limits strictly necessary to carry out the activities envisaged by their corporate purpose.

The data may be communicated to subjects operating within the European Union, or in countries that guarantee the same level of protection provided for by the Regulations. Since Gecodigital may also decide to operate at a supranational level, the processing of data carried out in the various countries will be adapted to the most restrictive regulations, in order to ensure the highest level of data protection for the person concerned.
The processing will also be carried out after the end of the main relationship, in compliance with the regulatory provisions governing the conservation of acts and documents, and, where expressly authorized, to allow the establishment of future relationships and to ensure the historicization of data, also in the interest of the customer and in any case the same will be verified and deleted periodically as already specified.
The personal data processed will be kept for 36 months, except for legal obligations, and at this time will be anonymized.

Modalities of treatment

The processing is carried out by automated means (e.g. using electronic procedures and supports) and/or manually for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and, in any case, in compliance with the applicable regulatory provisions.

Data subjects’ rights and data retention period

The interested parties have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the personal data being processed and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction (Articles 15 and 16 of the Regulation). The interested party has the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, their treatment (art. 17 et seq. of the Regulation). You can exercise your rights under Articles. 15 et seq. of the Regulation by contacting the data controller by sending an email to info@gecodigital.com The maximum time limit for replying to the person concerned is in all cases one month from the request.
The data are kept for a period not exceeding that necessary to pursue the purposes mentioned above, or to fulfill the obligations or provide the services requested and in any case for a period not exceeding that indicated above.
However, data subjects will always have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Changes to privacy policy

This privacy policy may be subject to changes over time, also in relation to the possible entry into force of new sector regulations, the updating or provision of new services or technological innovations, for which the user/visitor is invited to periodically consult this page.
